Paintings

I have always deeply identified with the vagabond, the traveler. Many of my young adult years were spent on the road with no more than a backpack and some camping gear. Most of these images were painted while traveling, though some were painted while simply missing it.

Two long distance cyclists passed through our town where they stayed a few days. We talked all about traveling and swapped road stories. This painting is of an image from their travels. I loved the play of the light flares in the dark.
